NPR’s Latino USA
Chicago is one of the few major U.S cities that bans street vendors from selling prepared foods, except in parks. New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Denver and Austin, for example, all allow some form of street vending on their sidewalks. The Chicago city council is considering a measure to do away with the ban. If it passes, it would mean safer conditions and more economic opportunity for vendors who now risk fines and even arrests.

An 8-part podcast about a thirty-something dog walker who's in the middle of a quarter-ish-life crisis. Colleen was recently fired from her job, struggling to pay the rent, looking for happiness, and trying her best to find a life that doesn't means something. As she tries to make sense of the ups and downs of her life she begins walking dogs. Stumbling along the way and between Karaoke bar singing, she meets exciting people, collecting stories connected to and about dogs.
